Oven Fried Chicken
This is a great-tasting and easy-to-prepare recipe for homemade, spicy and tasty oven fried chicken, that will tantalise your taste buds.
All the crunch of good fried chicken without the fat!
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breast Fillets
50g (2oz) Breadcrumbs
1 tsp Parsley
½ tsp Basil
¼ tsp Pepper
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Paprika
Serves: 4
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 190°C: 375°F: Gas 5
Combine the breadcrumbs, herbs and seasonings.
Mix well
Place a sheet of tin foil on a baking tray.
Place half of the breadcrumb mixture on the foiled tray.
Add the skinned chicken breasts and pressing down into the breadcrumb mixture.
Add the remaining breadcrumb mixture on top of the chicken, again press down
Check that the chicken if fully covered in the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake for about 45 minutes.
Serve: With seasonal vegetables and boiled potatoes or chips (Frech fries).
